What is Custom Cursor?
Custom Cursor is a cursor changer that lets you replace and enhance your Windows cursor with custom packs, visual effects, and animated overlays, applied system-wide or only to specific applications and games.
How do I install Custom Cursor?
Custom Cursor ships in two ways, both free:
- On Steam , which adds Steam Workshop support so you can subscribe to community packs.
- As a standalone download from our download page.
Both versions have the same core features. Pick whichever you prefer.
Who's behind Custom Cursor?
Custom Cursor is made by Playsaurus. Playsaurus has developed several popular clicker games including Clicker Heroes and Mr. Mine. We're also the Steam publisher of the classic game Cookie Clicker. Custom Cursor is our way of bringing a little more personality to your desktop. Please enjoy!
What are the system requirements?
Custom Cursor is compatible with Windows 10+. Linux and macOS are not supported.

- Processor: Intel Pentium
- Memory: 1 MB RAM
- Storage: 100 MB available space
Recommended:
- OS: Windows 10 (10.0.19041.0)

Is Custom Cursor free?
Yes. Both the Steam version and the standalone download are free.
What should I know before using effects in games?
- Some effects require the in-game cursor hook and may behave differently per title.
- Some games draw their cursor in-game, so it can't be replaced directly. Use the "Hidden" option to draw a custom cursor on top of it instead.
- Be careful using in-game effects with anti-cheat protected titles (EAC, BattlEye, Vanguard, VAC). The DLL hook may get you kicked or banned. Always consult the game's terms of use before enabling effects.
